CHINESE CHEF

We are hiring a talented and experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) specialized in Chinese Cuisine to lead a section of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of traditional Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients, and the ability to maintain consistency and quality in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Chinese section (wok, dim sum, noodles, rice, sauces, etc.)
• Prepare and present authentic Chinese dishes as per standardized recipes and plating guidelines
• Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff in your section
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
• Ensure mise en place is prepared for all meals and services
• Monitor inventory, control wastage, and report stock needs
• Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and daily specials
• Maintain equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Chinese kitchens (hotel, restaurant, or cloud kitchen)
• Expertise in stir-fry techniques, Chinese sauces, dumplings, and wok cooking
• Understanding of traditional and modern Chinese flavors and ingredients
• Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively
• Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen operations
• Culinary degree or certification is preferred
• Positive attitude, discipline, and flexibility to work in shifts
