Chili Commodity Trade Executive

You will be working as a Commodity Trading Market Executive for WAVAR, a prominent agri-trade and farmer-focused organization. Your primary role will involve managing trade operations of multiple agricultural commodities in APMC markets located in Pune and Mumbai. Your responsibilities will include sourcing commodities from farmers and vendors, negotiating with traders, and ensuring efficient trade execution from procurement to delivery. Your key responsibilities will involve monitoring and analyzing commodity prices, market demand, and seasonal trends. You will be expected to source various agricultural commodities directly from farmers, traders, and mandis, as well as build strong relationships with vendors, commission agents, and buyers. Additionally, executing and negotiating trade deals to ensure profitable margins, coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth operations, preparing and presenting daily trade updates and performance reports, and traveling regularly within APMC markets in Pune, Mumbai, and nearby areas. To qualify for this role, you should preferably have a BSc or MSc in Agriculture or relevant experience in commodity trading. A complete understanding of APMC functioning and agri-commodity trade is essential, along with a minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience in agri-commodity trading. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as proficiency in using mobile apps and reporting tools like Excel or Google Sheets. A valid driving license for both 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler is mandatory.
