Chief Risk Officer

Role Overview

The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the Bank’s enterprise-wide risk management framework. This includes identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across credit, market, liquidity, operational, compliance, information security, and AML domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall risk management function across the Bank, ensuring effective implementation of risk frameworks.
• Oversee credit risk, market risk, Information security risk, liquidity & interest rate risk, operational risk, and compliance risk management.
• Ensure effective implementation of Basel guidelines and Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process.
• Supervise internal financial controls, information security risk assessments, and cybersecurity preparedness.
• Facilitate Board and Committee discussions on Risk Profile of the organization, level and direction of aggregate and major risk streams, risk appetite, capital adequacy, and emerging risks.
• Provide leadership in operational risk, business continuity planning, and anti-money laundering (AML/CFT) compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum

  25 years experience in banking with at least 10 years progressive experience in risk management

• Strong leadership and strategic decision-making skills.
• Proven track record of working with regulatory authorities, auditors, and Board-level committees.

Desirable Professional Qualifications :

Certification in FRM /Professional Risk
