Chief Operating Officer

Strategic Leadership

• Translate the companys vision into actionable operational strategies and plans.
• Lead the execution of short- and long-term business goals for construction projects.
• Partner with MD/Director on growth initiatives, business expansion, and diversification.

Operational Excellence

• Head overall operations including

  Project Execution, EPC, Planning, Billing, Purchase & Contracts, Plant & Machinery, Safety, Quality, and Project Controls

  .
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with safety and quality standards.
• Oversee execution across civil, structural, finishing, and MEP works, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Establish systems for strong project controls, MIS, and progress dashboards for leadership review.

Budgeting, Costing & Billing

• Monitor and control project budgets, costing, and cash flows.
• Drive value engineering initiatives for cost optimization.
• Oversee billing accuracy and timely certification of contractor/vendor bills.

Procurement & Contracts

• Lead procurement and contracts strategy including vendor development, tendering, negotiations, and finalization.
• Ensure timely availability of materials and services at optimum cost.
• Oversee contract management and dispute resolution.

Financial Alignment & Governance

• Work closely with the

  Accounts & Finance teams

  to ensure effective cash flow management, budgetary controls, and timely fund allocation for projects.
• Oversee payment approvals for vendors, contractors, and consultants in line with project progress and contractual obligations.
• Ensure financial discipline across EPC functions by monitoring cost-to-budget variance, controlling overheads, and aligning project spends with company’s financial objectives.

MEP, Plant & Machinery

• Provide leadership for MEP execution and coordination with consultants/contractors.
• Ensure effective utilization, deployment, and maintenance of plant and machinery.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Champion a culture of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) across all projects.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and environmental norms.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality standards and best practices.

People Leadership

• Lead functional heads across project disciplines (Planning, Billing, Contracts, Procurement, MEP, P&M, Safety, Quality).
• Build a performance-driven culture with clear KRAs, accountability, and ownership.
• Mentor and groom next-level leaders for future succession planning.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities for smooth execution.
• Provide operational reports and project updates to the MD/Director.
• Ensure timely resolution of on-ground challenges and bottlenecks.
