Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Operational Officer (COO) to oversee and streamline the operational functions of our travel business. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, deep experience in travel operations, and the ability to scale processes, teams, and customer experience. This role requires someone who can drive growth, ensure operational excellence, and contribute to high-level business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations across all travel business verticals (sales, operations, customer support, vendor management, etc.).

Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.

Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure seamless travel operations.

Manage partnerships with travel vendors, agents, and service providers.

Monitor business performance metrics and create reports for leadership.

Implement SOPs, quality standards, and scalable processes.

Improve customer experience and ensure timely resolution of escalations.

Collaborate with the CEO/founder on business growth strategies and expansion plans.

Ensure regulatory compliance within the travel and tourism industry.

Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and cost control.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in travel operations or a senior operational role.

Strong understanding of the travel industry ecosystem (domestic & international travel, B2B/B2C operations).

Proven leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work onsite in Salem.

Strong analytical mindset with experience in operations planning and strategy.

Familiarity with CRM tools, travel booking systems, and operational software (preferred).
