Job Description

As an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a crucial role in our team of high-performing professionals by ensuring our finances are positioned for continued success. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around effective risk management and planning the financial strategy of our organization. You will lead and manage the financial initiatives, aiming to protect the company's revenues and profits while achieving full financial control and sustainable growth. Your key duties will include making decisions on where to invest company funds, overseeing the capital structure, and identifying optimal financing options. You will provide strategic direction, track cash flow, manage the accounting and finance departments, and ensure the accuracy of the company's financial reports. It will be your responsibility, either directly or through your team, to oversee all aspects of cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, all while contributing to the company's financial strategy and hiring needs. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting. - Research revenue opportunities, analyze economic trends, identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement. - Determine investment strategies considering cash and liquidity risks. - Control and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure. - Ensure appropriate cash flow alignment with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities. - Coordinate the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, along with related reporting. - Manage vendor relationships, prepare reliable current and forecasting reports. - Establish and oversee the company's finance IT system, ensure compliance with laws and company policies. - Lead a team of accounts and financial analysts while handling any other assigned tasks. Requirements and Skills: - Proven experience as a CFO, finance officer, or relevant role. - Master's degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance (or equivalent experience). - In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices. - Proficiency in MS Office and Tally software. - Strategic problem-solving abilities, strong leadership, and organizational skills. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
