Role Overview:

Chief Retail Expansion Officer – will be responsible for establishing and expanding the FOFO-based omnichannel pharmacy retail network across India. This individual will identify high-potential locations, evaluate market opportunities, and oversee the end-to-end process of setting up new pharmacy outlets — ensuring alignment with the company’s operational, branding, and compliance standards.

The company will provide complete support in licensing, store interior design, technology implementation, and marketing, while this role will focus on identifying viable partners and locations, driving execution, and ensuring business success at the ground level.


Key Responsibilities:

• Opportunity Identification:

o Identify and evaluate potential markets and territories for new FOFO pharmacy outlets.

o Conduct feasibility studies and market mapping for store expansion.

• Franchise Development:

o Identify and onboard suitable franchise partners aligned with company values and business goals.

o Guide franchise partners through the store setup process.

• Project Execution:

o Coordinate with internal teams for store layout, design, and branding.

o Oversee pre-launch activities, ensuring timely execution of every phase — from location approval to store inauguration.

• Operational Integration:

o Ensure smooth integration of software systems, inventory management, and digital sales channels (online/offline sync).

o Establish standard operating procedures for retail operations.

• Marketing & Promotion:

o Collaborate with the marketing team to plan local promotions, digital visibility, and launch campaigns.

o Ensure brand consistency across all franchise stores.

• Compliance & Coordination:

o Liaise with the company’s licensing and legal team for regulatory approvals.

o Ensure every outlet adheres to pharmacy and healthcare regulations.

• Performance Monitoring:

o Track and review the performance of franchise stores.

o Recommend operational improvements and revenue growth strategies.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong background in retail project management, franchise operations, or healthcare/pharmacy retail.

• Excellent business acumen and network in the retail domain.

• Proven ability to build from scratch, manage multi-city operations, and deliver within deadlines.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership and negotiation skills.
