Chess Coach

You will be working as a Chess Coach at White Knight Chess Academy, a renowned institution with a track record of winning five consecutive district championships. The academy is committed to nurturing sportsmanship and critical thinking abilities in children through the game of chess. We provide both online and offline coaching to meet the diverse needs of our students, ensuring that each student receives top-notch training and a rewarding experience. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting chess training sessions, developing lesson plans, mentoring students, organizing tournaments, and delivering personalized coaching. You will be involved in assessing students" progress regularly and actively participating in academy events to emphasize the significance of chess. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of chess rules, tactics, and strategies. Prior experience in coaching or teaching, particularly in educational or sports environments, is desirable. Effective communication skills, the ability to connect with students at different skill levels, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Experience in organizing chess events and tournaments is advantageous. Proficiency in utilizing digital tools for online coaching would be a plus. Ideally, you hold a Bachelor's degree in education, sports management, or a related field. Possessing a Certified Chess Coach accreditation or a similar qualification would be beneficial for this position.
