Chessbrainz is the leading chess teaching academy in India, offering online chess instruction to children from over 30 countries. With a team of more than 100 internationally rated chess tutors, we aim to popularize chess among school children. Our program, "Early Stage Brain Development," begins chess instruction for children as young as 4 to enhance their cognitive abilities. We emphasize results-driven coaching and regularly expose our students to State, National, and International chess competitions.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Chess Coach. The Chess Coach will be responsible for providing online chess instruction, developing individualized coaching plans, monitoring student progress, and preparing students for chess competitions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting one-on-one and group lessons, creating instructional materials, and offering feedback to help students improve their chess skills and cognitive development.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of chess fundamentals, strategies, and tactics
• Experience in chess coaching or teaching, especially to young children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create and implement individualized coaching plans
• Patience, creativity, and passion for teaching chess
• Experience working with children as young as 4 years old
