Cherwell Developer

As a Cherwell Developer, you will be a valued member of the Cherwell application team, providing technical assistance and software configuration/customization support. Your responsibilities will include working with process owners to design and implement workflows in Cherwell, administer tools, handle incident tickets, and develop creative solutions to resolve business problems based on customer requirements and system capabilities. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing support of Cherwell solutions within the team. Following best practices in development processes, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document user and process requirements, perform quality assurance testing, and provide analysis and resolution for any issues that arise post-deployment. Your role will also involve creating technical and process documentation, training technical teams and service desk personnel on ITSM tool usage, and acting as a consultant to key stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will apply release management and configuration management principles to ensure the stability of production environments. To excel in this role, you should have expertise in Cherwell Asset management implementation and CMDB integration, as well as experience in conducting client meetings, requirements elicitation, fit-gap analysis, and Cherwell module implementations. Direct hands-on experience with various ITIL processes and knowledge of the ITIL Framework or Certification will be advantageous. Your development experience should cover a range of areas such as Catalog/Service Request configuration, Automation Process, Form Design, Approval Block, Security Groups, and more.
