Chemistry Teacher - Cambridge International/IGCSE / NIOS syllabus

Role & responsibilities

1. The Chemistry Teacher at Creative will spark curiosity, encourage deep inquiry, and facilitate connections between Science and other disciplines.
2. This educator will design experiential learning opportunities that blend physical, life, and earth sciences with mathematics, language
3. arts, and the arts, enabling students to investigate the world through multiple lenses.
4. The role demands a facilitator who can guide students through the joy, challenges, and complexities of scientic exploration.
5. Plan and implement engaging lessons covering physical, inorganic, and organic chemistry.
6. Design, supervise, and evaluate laboratory experiments.
7. Relate scientic ideas to real-life contexts and other subject areas to foster holistic understanding

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Engineering and other related elds and/or experience in teaching research based project work and science in school settings .
2. Some experience teaching senior secondary chemistry, preferably in a Cambridge curriculum setting. Knowledge and understanding of Cambridge International Curriculum will be an advantage.
3. Strong understanding of core and advanced chemistry concepts across physical, inorganic, and organic domains.
4. Demonstrated experience in experimental design, theoretical calculations and data analyses.
5. Ability to review textbooks and reference books to work with relevant materials
