Job Description

Job title: Sales Engineer Work Location: Pune Division/Department: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Creating Lead bank for Sterile process equipments and converting those potential lead into Enquiry. Aligning proposal team on customer requirement and URS to submit techno-commercial proposal. Forecasting the upcoming requirement and building strong position for company from concept level of the project. Attending customer meetings for techno-commercial discussion. Comfortable for travelling to customer sites for short and long duration based on project needs. Creating and Compiling order win or lost report for contested projects and applying those learnings in future project. Should be familiar with Pharma/Biotech sterile processes like CIP, SIP, PHT and product Transfer, Sales engineer should be able to discuss the technical proposals with customer independently. Should create company USP and convey the same to customer during various platform to increase the UPR. Ability to convert the leads into enquiry and enquiry into the orders on consistent basis. Should understand the basic sales process and to participate in international orders as and when required. Should understand and aware about drug approval process of FDA to trace potential leads at very initial stage. Participate and expand company footprint in the various exhibition specifically targeted for Sterile Injectable portfolio. Should be aware about competition and perform detailed Competition analysis during bidding stage. Should prepare Various presentations and support marketing for improving digital footprints of company. Focus on standardizing the sales processes and Cost estimation to avoid repeated work for similar products/equipments. Prepare comprehensive sales plans with technical objectives and detailed cost estimates to achieve the sales target with high bottom line. Coordination with PM on Claim management with customer and maintaining proper records for project scope/timeline deviations. Inherent character of FIRST TIME RIGHT for providing quality output. Work Experience Requirements: Good knowledge on OEM for Pharma and Biotech Industry-Sterile Process equipments. Good knowledge of Standards like ASME BPE, PED, DOSH. Should be proficient with Excel, Power point. Experience in front end team and direct involvement with customers for selling of Capital equipment’s.
