Key Responsibilities

Source and procure chemicals (domestic & international) based on company requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers and distributors.
Negotiate prices, credit terms, and contracts to ensure cost efficiency.
Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and availability of key chemicals.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, documentation, and statutory requirements.
Maintain supplier database, track performance, and ensure timely delivery.
Work closely with logistics, finance, and sales teams to coordinate purchase cycles.
Manage purchase orders, contracts, and records in line with company standards.
Support new product development by sourcing alternative suppliers or new chemical inputs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Graduate in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering preferred; Any graduate with relevant experience may apply.
24 years of proven experience in
chemical purchasing / sourcing
(mandatory).
Strong knowledge of domestic and global chemical markets, suppliers, and pricing trends.
Familiarity with import/export processes and regulatory documentation.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP tools.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
