Chemical Engineer

As an experienced Senior Chemical Engineer specializing in Production and Process within chemical plant operations, your role involves overseeing and leading various aspects to ensure the efficient and safe functioning of the manufacturing plant. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Overseeing and managing daily production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets. - Supervising reactor, distillation, and utility operations to ensure smooth plant performance. - Leading a team of engineers, supervisors, and operators to maintain optimal plant productivity. - Analyzing process parameters and implementing continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives. - Troubleshooting process deviations and coordinating with maintenance, quality, and safety teams. - Planning and executing plant shutdowns, startups, and equipment commissioning. - Maintaining proper documentation for production logs, process records, and regulatory compliance. - Ensuring adherence to SOPs, ISO/GMP standards, and safety protocols (HSE). - Supporting process design modifications, scale-up activities, and new product trials. - Collaborating with R&D and management for process development and technology transfer. To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering. - 6-12 years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, or process manufacturing industries. - Strong understanding of unit operations, process control, and utilities. - Experience with DCS/PLC-based plant systems preferred. - Proven leadership and team management skills. - Knowledge of safety standards, environmental compliance, and quality systems. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
