Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (Continental Cuisine) to join our Culinary Catering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality continental dishes, and maintaining kitchen standards of hygiene and presentation. You should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of European/Western cooking techniques. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and present high-quality continental dishes (e.g., Italian, French, Mediterranean) in a timely and consistent manner. Manage a particular kitchen section (e.g., grill, cold, hot, sauces, etc.). Maintain portion control and minimize food waste. Ensure all food preparation is compliant with hygiene and safety standards. Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to plan menus, specials, and mise-en-place. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in your section. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering stock when needed. Ensure proper labeling and storage of food to avoid spoilage or contamination. Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
