Chef De Partie - Bakery

Kumarakom Lake Resort is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie specializing in bakery to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the bakery section, creating high-quality baked goods, and ensuring that all products meet our standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products including artisan breads, rolls, croissants, Danish pastries, muffins, cakes, and cookies.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the bakery section, ensuring high standards and consistency.
• Follow and improve existing recipes while also contributing new ideas for seasonal and menu-specific items.
• Ensure all bakery production is completed on time and to specification.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and place orders or requisitions as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section, complying with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Train, guide, and supervise junior kitchen staff or commis assigned to the bakery section.
• Collaborate with other sections and chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Minimize food waste through proper stock rotation and portion control.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Baker in a high-volume or fine-dining kitchen.
• Formal culinary training or relevant bakery certification preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern baking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and leadership skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
