Chef de Partie - Bakery and Confectionery

As a Cook at Courtyard, your role involves preparing special meals or substitute items, regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, and pulling food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator. Your responsibilities include ensuring proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish, maintaining food logs, monitoring the quality and quantity of prepared food, and communicating assistance needed during busy periods. You will also inform the Chef of excess food items for daily specials and notify the Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock menu items. Moreover, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, as well as preparing cold foods.
