Dry Bulk Chartering

• General Manager (15+ years)

• Chartering Manager (5+ years)

• Assistant Chartering Manager (2+ years)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the chartering team to ensure commercial and operational goals are met.
• Manage the full chartering process for dry bulk vessels, including negotiation and fixture execution.
• Conduct regular market research and provide updates on freight trends, vessel availability, and competitor activities.
• Ensure compliance with charter party terms, internal policies, sanctions, and credit/risk guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and vessel owners.
• Monitor voyage and portfolio-level P&L and provide periodic performance reports to management.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in charter party agreements, shipping documentation, and relevant industry regulations.
• Familiarity with IMOS or similar chartering software is preferred.
