Chartered Accountant

As a Chartered Accountant with international exposure, especially in Canadian GAAP and IFRS, you are invited to apply for the critical finance role at our company. Your main responsibility will be managing accounting operations for Canadian clients, handling financial reporting as per IFRS, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with external auditors and Canadian tax consultants. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage full-cycle accounting for Canadian businesses - Review and finalise bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and general ledger - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IFRS - Prepare and review year-end working papers for audits and tax filings - Provide technical accounting guidance and resolve complex accounting issues - Lead and mentor junior accounting or offshore bookkeeping teams - Collaborate effectively with Canadian clients and external stakeholders **Qualifications:** - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA India) - Minimum 1 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with international or Canadian accounting exposure - Strong knowledge of IFRS and Canadian accounting standards - Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or similar accounting tools - Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills - Proficiency in Excel, including financial modelling and reconciliations - Willingness to work evening shifts to align with Canadian time zones Join our growing international finance team to build your expertise in global accounting practices.
