Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant located in Chennai. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing GST compliance, preparing and reviewing financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks will include filing GST returns, handling GST Notices and Litigation and certification processes, providing tax advisory services, and collaborating with IT teams for system improvements. Additionally, the Chartered Accountant will partake in training programs and represent Figment in seminars and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in GST compliance
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Experience in conducting audits and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Excellent tax advisory skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA certification required
• Prior experience in the financial services industry or with cloud-based compliance solutions is a plus
