Job Title:Chartered Accountant – Direct & Indirect Taxation Location:Purasaiwakkam, Chennai About the Role:We are a well-established Chartered Accountancy firm based in Chennai, looking for a dynamic and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Tally, GST compliances, Income Tax filings, Statutory and Tax Audits, and Corporate regulatory filings. The role offers an opportunity to work in a professional and performance-driven environment with exposure to diverse client profiles across industries. Key Responsibilities:Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) Filing of Income Tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies Handling Income Tax Audits, GST Audits, and Tax computations Proficiency in Tally Prime – Ledger scrutiny, voucher entries, reconciliations Preparation and filing of ROC forms and other MCA-related compliance Assisting in assessment proceedings under the Income Tax and GST Acts Maintaining compliance calendars and ensuring timely filings Coordinating with clients and authorities for data and clarifications Required Qualifications:Qualified Chartered Accountant Minimum 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in a CA firm (preferred) Proficient in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and Tax/Compliance portals Sound knowledge of GST Laws, Income Tax provisions, and Company Law basics Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently Office Timings: Monday to Saturday – 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Sunday fixed off; no other holidays) Location Advantage: Located at Purasaiwakkam, Chennai – Easily accessible via public transport
