Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Role & Responsibilities:

01. Lead and manage statutory audits of corporates, firms, and other entities.

Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Accounting Standards/Ind AS, and other applicable regulations.

01. Handle Tax Audit u/s 44AB of Income Tax Act.

Conduct GST Audit/Review under GST laws and preparation of necessary reports.

02. Plan, execute, and review internal audits focusing on process improvement, risk mitigation, and internal control systems.

Suggest system and process improvements for operational efficiency.

03. Supervise finalisation of accounts for clients across industries.

Review and ensure correctness of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and notes to accounts.

04. Monitor and review statutory compliances under Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.

Provide compliance status reports to management/partners.

05. Lead a team of article assistants and executives for audit assignments.

Communicate effectively with clients, resolve queries, and maintain client relationships.

Key Skills-

Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting standards, and tax laws.

Working knowledge of Tally, SAP/ERP, MS Office, and Audit Tools including Advance Excel.

Excellent analytical, communication, and report drafting skills.

Ability to manage multiple assignments with deadlines.

Leadership and mentoring abilities.
