Position: Channel Sales Officer

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Experience: 2-5 years in channel sales, distribution, or merchant acquisition

Industry: FMCG/Retail

Salary: Competitive + Incentives

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Channel Sales Officer to drive partner acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth through our distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchant acquisition, B2B sales, and partner engagement, with a results-driven approach to expanding market presence and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Partner Development: Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners, distributors, and resellers to drive product adoption.
  • Merchant Acquisition: Expand the merchant network by pitching, negotiating, and closing deals with retailers, brands, and business owners.
  • Sales Execution & Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets by executing channel strategies, market expansion plans, and promotional campaigns.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners to drive engagement and loyalty.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Training & Support: Provide sales training and support to channel partners to enhance their effectiveness in selling the company’s products.

Key Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in channel sales, merchant acquisition, or B2B partnerships (preferably FMCG).
  • Strong network in retail, merchant acquiring, or distribution ecosystems.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and execute sales strategies with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with digital payments, POS solutions, or financial products is a plus.
