Job Description

Responsibilities As an In-charge of CFT, shall be responsible to lead the turnout of the crew. Assessment of the call, determining the line of action to be taken by the unit crew and implementation of the same to achieve the turn out objective shall be the key elements of the Role. Command on R/T communication shall be an essential element of the role during emergencies. Sincerity and alertness displayed in maintaining CFT stand by. When posted at SFS, he shall be responsible to Turn out the required number of SFS appliances based on the nature of the call. Supervise the Serviceability and Inventory check of CFT, record the observations in respective log books and communicate the observations to the Duty Manager. Follow up with concern agencies for the closure of the snags identified during various checks and inspections. Supervise the Trainings and lectures conducted in respective shifts. Complete all designated trainings in stipulated time. Supervise the Operational Checks of Equipment’s/Appliances as per schedule. Assist the Duty Manager in maintaining Operational Records and in preparation of Daily Reports. Maintain Mental and Physical Fitness. Perform Specific Tasks as and when directed by Duty Manager. Shall be conversant with all relevant SOP’s, WI and Contingency Plan’s of NMIAL. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS 10+2 with valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License. Should possess Basic Firefighting certification from Aviation Fire Training Centre Experience He should have at least 08- 10years’ experience of working with Aviation Fire Service. Show more Show less
