Job Description

Operate and manage remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) for various missions. Ensure the safe operation of UAVs during flight operations, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Conduct pre-flight checks and maintenance inspections on UAV systems to ensure operational readiness. Monitor UAV systems during flight to ensure optimal performance, identifying and addressing any issues promptly. Collaborate with the UAV engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot technical problems during flight operations. Maintain accurate logs of flight operations, equipment usage, and incidents. Follow established procedures for data collection and ensure compliance with aviation regulations. Participate in training programs to maintain and enhance piloting skills and stay updated with industry standards. Requirements: Certification: Valid Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) Skills: Proficient in operating RPAS for a variety of missions. Strong knowledge of UAV flight systems, navigation, and control systems. Excellent understanding of aviation safety protocols and regulations. Ability to assess and manage flight risks effectively. Proficiency in flight planning and execution. Mandatory: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of UAV system troubleshooting and maintenance. Familiarity with flight simulation tools for training and practice. Experience with flight mission planning software.
