Position Summary:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to management.
  
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable financial reporting standards.
  

Tax Planning & Compliance

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax laws.
  
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impact on the organization.
  
• Manage tax planning to minimize liabilities and maximize savings.

Accounting Operations

• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
  
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounting.
  
• Implement and maintain accounting systems, processes, and procedures.
  

Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate financial results and risks to senior management and stakeholders.
  
• Liaise with banks, regulatory bodies, tax authorities, and external auditors as needed.
