Certification Coordinator

About Us

We are a grower group committed to sustainable and ethical agricultural practices. Our organization currently holds Fairtrade and India Organic (NPOP) certifications, with plans to expand into additional certifications in the future. We are seeking a Certification Coordinator to ensure smooth management and compliance of all certification processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all certification activities for the grower group (currently Fairtrade and NPOP).
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation required for certification audits.
• Liaise with certification bodies, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and support internal inspections, audits, and compliance activities.
• Assist in training field staff and farmers on certification standards and best practices.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with certification requirements at all times.
• Prepare timely reports and respond to certification-related queries.
• Stay updated on changes in standards and guide the organization on new requirements.
• Support future certification expansions as the grower group diversifies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Prior experience in certification management (Fairtrade, Organic, or similar) strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication skills (English required; Proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages will be considered an asse ).
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with grower group dynamics and field operations is a plus.

Key Skills

• Knowledge of certification standards (Fairtrade, Organic/NPOP).
• Detail-oriented and compliance-focused mindset.
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn and work with a variety of software applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
