Certification Coordinator

Role Overview: As a Certification Coordinator at our grower group committed to sustainable and ethical agricultural practices, your main responsibility will be to oversee and manage all certification activities, ensuring smooth management and compliance of all certification processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining up-to-date records, coordinating with certification bodies, and supporting internal inspections and compliance activities. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all certification activities for the grower group, including Fairtrade and NPOP certifications. - Maintain up-to-date records and necessary documentation for certification audits. - Liaise with certification bodies, inspectors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance. - Coordinate and support internal inspections, audits, and compliance activities. - Assist in training field staff and farmers on certification standards and best practices. - Monitor and ensure compliance with certification requirements at all times. - Prepare timely reports and address certification-related queries. - Stay updated on changes in standards and guide the organization on new requirements. - Support future certification expansions as the grower group diversifies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field. - Prior experience in certification management, preferably in Fairtrade, Organic, or similar certifications. - Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. - Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is considered an asset. - Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders. - Familiarity with grower group dynamics and field operations is a plus.
