Certification Coordinator

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all certification activities for the grower group, which currently holds Fairtrade and NPOP certifications. This includes maintaining up-to-date records and documentation required for certification audits, liaising with certification bodies, inspectors, and internal stakeholders, coordinating internal inspections, audits, and compliance activities, as well as assisting in training field staff and farmers on certification standards and best practices. Your role will also involve monitoring and ensuring compliance with certification requirements at all times, preparing timely reports, responding to certification-related queries, staying updated on changes in standards, and guiding the organization on new requirements. Additionally, you will support future certification expansions as the grower group diversifies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field. - Prior experience in certification management (Fairtrade, Organic, or similar) strongly preferred. - Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. - Good communication skills (English required; Proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages will be considered an asset). - Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. - Familiarity with grower group dynamics and field operations is a plus. Key Skills: - Knowledge of certification standards (Fairtrade, Organic/NPOP). - Detail-oriented and compliance-focused mindset. - Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills. - Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn and work with a variety of software applications.
