We are seeking an experienced and motivated Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of our centre. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment for staff, customers, and visitors. This role requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage both people and operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the centre runs safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Supervise, train, and schedule staff; conduct performance evaluations.
Maintain high standards of customer service; handle inquiries, feedback, and complaints.
Manage budgets, expenses, invoicing, and financial reporting.
Monitor facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
Coordinate centre programs, events, and activities.
Build strong relationships with members, tenants, and community partners.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Business, Management, Hospitality, or related field (preferred but not required).
2+ years of supervisory or management experience (centre management, hospitality, retail, or community services preferred).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Effective organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic administrative systems.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

First Aid/CPR certification
Experience with facility management
Budgeting or financial management experience
