Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities Centre Manager

(Apollo Knowledge – Education & Skilling Division)

Academic & Center Operations

  • Manage end-to-end operations of the education center in coordination with Apollo Knowledge and partner universities
  • Ensure availability of faculty, finalization of timetables, and smooth conduct of classes
  • Monitor student attendance, academic discipline, and overall classroom readiness
  • Ensure all academic and operational arrangements are in place before the start of each batch

Student Experience & Academic Quality

  • Act as the primary point of contact for students post-enrollment
  • Ensure students are well-prepared, confident, and aligned with university and Apollo academic standards
  • Coordinate and facilitate clinical internships, practical exposure, and academic evaluations
  • Maintain a positive and professional learning environment at the center

Coordination with Universities & Internal Teams

  • Liaise between Apollo Knowledge and partner universities for academic delivery and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to university guidelines, schedules, and reporting requirements
  • Coordinate with enrollment and counselling teams after student onboarding to ensure smooth handover

Administrative & Resource Management

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative activities of the center
  • Ensure proper infrastructure readiness, asset management, and classroom maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records related to students, faculty, attendance, and center operations

Leadership & Accountability

  • Take complete ownership of center performance and operational efficiency
  • Manage center staff (administrative and academic coordination) as the center scales
  • Handle escalations related to academics, faculty, or student concerns in a timely manner

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with Apollo Knowledge and university standards
  • Prepare and submit operational and academic reports to senior management
  • Support audits, reviews, and quality assessments as required

Flexibility & Growth Support

  • Support outreach activities or academic events when required
  • Be flexible to work during peak academic or admission periods
  • Contribute to the setup and stabilization of new centers as Apollo Knowledge expands

Key Notes

  • This is a

    critical leadership role

    in a growing education setup
  • Admissions and lead generation are handled by a separate team; the Centre Manager focuses on

    operations, academics, and student success

  • Willingness to

    relocate or stay near the university/center

    is preferred
