As the Centre Head - Academics at Global Institute of Sports Business (GISB) in Mumbai, your role will be crucial in overseeing the PGP program and ensuring the smooth operations of the Mumbai campus. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Mumbai campus, including academic programs, student services, and overall campus management. - Assisting in curriculum planning to ensure academic offerings are current and relevant in the field of sports management. - Serving as a faculty member, teaching select subjects and contributing to the academic development of students. - Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintaining academic integrity. - Guiding and mentoring students on career pathways within sports management. - Building a strong industry network to create exposure opportunities for students. - Developing strategic partnerships with sports organizations, federations, and brands. - Securing internship and placement opportunities for students. - Facilitating industry-led workshops, case studies, and live projects. - Engaging in alumni relations and representing the Institute at external events. - Assisting the marketing team in driving admissions and enhancing program visibility. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of experience in the sports industry in India. - Previous experience in sports management, sponsorships, business development, or academia. - Ability to build and manage strategic industry partnerships. - Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Comfortable teaching and mentoring students. - Established relationships within the sports ecosystem. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Proactive self-starter with a passion for advancing the sports industry through education.
