Job Description

The Global Institute of Sports Business (GISB), India's premier sports management institute, is expanding its team and is looking to appoint an Assistant Manager - Student Outreach for its Bangalore office. GISB is an industry-designed, experiential learning sports management institute that emphasizes individual growth, employability, and impact in the sports sector. As the Assistant Manager - Admissions, you will play a crucial role in driving student recruitment and managing the admissions process seamlessly across key locations. Your key responsibilities will include managing student outreach and business development activities. This involves scheduling calls, setting up meetings, follow-ups, and guiding leads through the admission process. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective students, parents, and mentors, providing detailed program insights and resolving queries. Building and maintaining relationships with universities, sports organizations, digital agencies, counsellors, and education consultants to generate student interest is also a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will plan and organize events, seminars, and masterclass sessions to engage prospective students and drive recruitment. Supporting social media marketing efforts, including content creation, scheduling, and on-ground content capture during events, will be part of your responsibilities. You will also coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission experience for all applicants and assist in creating pre-sales collateral and supporting materials in collaboration with the marketing team. Additionally, you will represent GISB at education fairs, conferences, and other external events to promote the institute's programs and success stories. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline (a Master's degree is an advantage) and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in admissions, business development, or educational counselling. Prior experience in the ed-tech sector is preferred. The open positions are located in Sarjapur, Bangalore (Offline), and the compensation offered is competitive and aligned with industry standards.,
