Job Description

The Center Head is responsible for the overall administration, academic excellence, and smooth functioning of the school center. The role involves leading the teaching and non-teaching staff, ensuring curriculum delivery, maintaining discipline, driving admissions, and building strong relationships with parents and the community. The Center Head ensures the center meets its academic, operational, and financial goals while upholding the schools vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership

  • Oversee curriculum planning, teaching quality, and student performance.
  • Ensure lesson plans and teaching methodologies are effectively implemented.
  • Monitor assessments, examinations, and academic outcomes.
  • Support and mentor teachers in professional development.

Administrative & Operational Management

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the school center.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, safety norms, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, resources, and infrastructure needs.
  • Maintain records and reports for management review.

Staff Leadership

  • Supervise, guide, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Conduct staff meetings, training sessions, and appraisals.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivating work culture.

Parent & Community Engagement

  • Act as the key point of contact for parents regarding school policies and student matters.
  • Organize parent–teacher meetings, orientations, and events.
  • Build a positive school image in the community and strengthen external relations.

Admissions & Marketing

  • Drive student admissions and ensure enrollment targets are achieved.
  • Promote the school through events, campaigns, and community outreach.
  • Maintain high retention of existing students.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of teaching and/or academic administration experience.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in school management systems and MS Office.
  • Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and make quick decisions.
  • Passionate about education and child development.
