Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Level 2 Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements related to radiation safety in accordance with Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) guidelines. The RSO will oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of PET CT scanners, as well as implement radiation protection programs at customer sites. Key Responsibilities: • Obtain necessary approvals and licenses from AERB for installation and operation of PET CT scanners. • Develop and implement radiation safety procedures. • Conduct site radiation surveys and ensure adherence to safety protocols. • Liaison with AERB and other regulatory authorities. • Provide training to staff and customers on radiation safety measures. • Maintain radiation exposure records and submit periodic reports to regulatory authorities. Qualifications Required: • RSO Level 2 Certification approved by AERB (PET CT category). • Master’s degree in Science/Engineering (Physics, Electronics, or related fields). • Candidates with Experience or Freshers in radiation safety management. • Good communication skills and willingness to travel across India.
