Job Description

Designation- Assistant Manager QA Outsourcing
Base Location- LudhianaYrs. of Experience- 3-5 yrs (experience in automotive tyre's tube manufacturing)Educational Qualification -Btech/BEJob Responsibilities
  • Champion quality assurance initiatives for outsourced manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with CEAT's high standards and customer expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the tube manufacturing process, focusing on enhancing stability, capability, efficiency and reduce defect and claim.
  • Play a key role in implementing and managing digitalization initiatives within the Quality Assurance department, leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate closely with the team at Amrit Rubber (presumably a manufacturing site or partner) to improve QSA scores and drive a culture of quality excellence.
  • Actively contribute to reducing technical claims by conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and fostering a proactive approach to quality management.
  • Lead and participate in Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) aimed at achieving consistent product quality through optimized and standardized processes.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on quality goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Polymer preferred).
  • Tube manufacturing experience is Must
  • Proven experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on extrusion processes and outsourced operations.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and tools, including statistical process control, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Experience with digitalization initiatives in a quality assurance context is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for quality and a commitment to continuous improvement.
