CCTV Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Technician to join our security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of CCTV systems, ensuring the safety and security of our facilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Setup: Install and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, and associated network equipment. Ensure all systems are properly wired and integrated with existing security infrastructure. Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance checks on all CCTV equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning cameras, monitors, and related components. System Upgrades: Recommend and implement system upgrades to improve performance and security. Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in CCTV and security systems. Monitoring and Support: Monitor CCTV feeds for irregular activities and report any suspicious behavior. Provide technical support and training to staff on the use of CCTV systems. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs. Ensure all documentation is compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all CCTV installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during installations and repairs. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role. Strong understanding of CCTV systems, components, and networking. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
