CCTV / ELV TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced CCTV/ELV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ELV systems, particularly CCTV surveillance systems, across various projects. You will work on both major and mini projects across Kerala and nearby states, ensuring that installations are completed on time and meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Commissioning:
• Install, configure, and test CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related equipment.
• Set up and integrate other ELV systems such as access control, fire alarms, and intercoms as per project requirements.
• Ensure proper wiring, connectivity, and functionality during installation.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on installed systems.
• Provide technical support and solutions to address any client issues or system failures.
• Project Support:
• Assist in project site surveys to assess requirements and provide technical recommendations.
• Work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure timely completion of installations.
• Follow safety procedures and standards while working on-site.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of installation, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Complete service reports and submit them on time.
• Provide regular updates to the project manager on the progress of work.
• Customer Interaction:
• Interact with clients during installation and after-service to ensure satisfaction with the system functionality.
• Provide basic training to clients on system operation and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CCTV/ELV Technician or in a similar technical role within the ELV sector.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, IP cameras, analog systems, DVR/NVRs, and other ELV systems.
• Experience with the installation and maintenance of access control, fire alarms, intercoms, and related ELV technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel frequently across Kerala and neighboring states.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in CCTV/ELV systems or related fields.
• Familiarity with advanced technologies such as IP networking, cloud-based surveillance systems, and smart building solutions.
• Knowledge of local safety standards and regulations.

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
