Job Title: CCTV Technician Location: Calicut / Kochi Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled CCTV Technician with expertise in cabling, conduiting, and configuring IP and Analogue camera systems . The ideal candidate should have excellent troubleshooting skills in IP and AHD cameras and associated network systems . Knowledge or experience in other ELV systems such as data networking, IPPBX, and access control is a value addition. The candidate should be self-motivated with a strong commitment towards completing tasks, even if it requires extra time and effort. Key Responsibilities: Install, terminate, and test cables, conduits, and related infrastructure for CCTV systems. Configure and troubleshoot IP and Analog (AHD) camera systems . Ensure proper integration of CCTV systems with network infrastructure . Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to surveillance systems. Conduct site assessments and recommend appropriate solutions for security surveillance. Work with project managers and engineers to ensure installations meet required standards. Maintain proper documentation of installed systems, troubleshooting logs, and configurations . Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians. Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations . Assist in the installation and maintenance of other ELV systems such as data networking and IPPBX when required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or Certification in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field. 1+ years of hands-on experience in CCTV installation, cabling, and troubleshooting . Strong knowledge of IP and AHD camera systems and their configurations. Familiarity with networking fundamentals related to CCTV systems. Experience in working with conduits, structured cabling, and power supplies . Ability to work independently with self-motivated problem-solving skills . Knowledge of other ELV systems (e.g., IPPBX, access control) is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Work Environment: Field-based role with frequent site visits . Interaction with project teams, engineers, and clients . Target-driven role with hands-on troubleshooting and installation responsibilities.
