As a Category Specialist - Jewellery, your role will involve driving the commercial strategy, performance, and growth of the jewelry category on VGL's online channel. You will focus on sales, product identification, assortment planning, pricing strategy, and enhancing the customer experience. Collaboration with internal teams like Meta buyer, Google Ads, marketing, design, and logistics will be crucial to optimize category performance across digital platforms. Key responsibilities include defining category strategies, curating product assortment, managing pricing and margins, analyzing sales performance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for campaign planning and execution. Vendor and inventory management, along with relationship building with suppliers and internal buying teams, will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in business, Merchandising, or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience in category management, merchandising, or buying, preferably in jewelry or fashion retail. Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and proficiency in tools like MS Excel, Power BI, and e-commerce platforms are essential. A passion for jewelry, market trends, and consumer behavior is highly desirable. Preferred skills include an understanding of product lifecycle, inventory management, and knowledge of precious stones. Familiarity with product content enrichment and pricing models will be advantageous in this role.,
