Category Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Merchandising & Product Mapping: Daily product attribute mapping in line with the defined merchandising process for all new and existing jewellery SKUs.
• Photoshoot Coordination: Plan and schedule jewellery photoshoots; identify gaps in merchandise and ensure prioritized products are shot and ready for upload.
• Trend Research: Conduct market research to track jewellery trends, regional preferences, and customer behaviour across various zones in India.
• Product Conceptualization: Collaborate with designers and CAD teams to conceptualize new jewellery lines with clear design briefs, mood boards, size/material specifications, and visual references.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Cataloguing, and Ecommerce teams to ensure a consistent product experience and timely uploads.
• Catalog Management: Maintain a well-organized product catalogue and design bank of saleable jewellery. Ensure timely updates and accuracy of all SKUs listed on the website.
• Quality & Display Checks: Ensure correct display of jewellery on the website by validating attributes, naming conventions, and imagery.
• MIS & Reporting: Maintain tracking sheets, attribute completion logs, and daily activity reports using Excel and merchandising dashboards.
