Key Responsibilities

• Category Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies for the kitchenware category.
• Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Define assortment architecture and product lifecycle plans.

• Product Development & Sourcing

• Collaborate with design, sourcing, and OEM partners to develop innovative and high-quality kitchenware products.
• Ensure alignment with brand values of affordability, quality, and youthful appeal.

• Pricing & Promotion

• Set pricing strategies based on cost analysis, market benchmarks, and margin targets.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.

• Vendor & Supplier Management

• Build strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and cost structures.

• Performance Analysis

• Monitor category performance through KPIs such as sales, margin, inventory turnover, and customer feedback.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize assortment and improve profitability.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, retail, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive execution.
• Support brand storytelling and content creation for product launches and campaigns.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or product strategypreferably in kitchenware, home goods.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
• Passion for consumer products and understanding of Indian household dynamics is a plus.
