As a Catalogue Manager/Assistant Manager, your role involves overseeing the development, organization, and maintenance of the company's product catalogue to ensure accurate and effective presentation to customers. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Catalogue Management:** - Develop, update, and manage the product catalogue with accurate representation of all items. - Maintain product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and images. - **Data Management:** - Oversee collection, entry, and validation of product data from various sources. - Analyze catalogue performance metrics and implement improvements based on data insights. - Monitor and address data discrepancies promptly. - **Cross-Functional Coordination:** - Collaborate with sourcing and merchandising teams to gather and update product information. - Work with IT and e-commerce teams for seamless integration of catalogue data. - **Content Creation and Optimization:** - Ensure compelling product descriptions and marketing content aligned with branding. - Implement SEO best practices for online visibility and searchability. - **Quality Assurance:** - Conduct regular audits to identify and correct errors. - Implement quality control processes for high standards of accuracy. - **Reporting and Analysis:** - Generate reports on catalogue performance and provide insights for improvements. - Monitor competitor catalogues and industry trends. - **Customer Experience:** - Enhance customer experience by providing accurate product information. - Address customer inquiries and feedback related to catalogue content. - **Team Building & Monitoring Productivity:** - Assist in building a cohesive team and monitor productivity. - Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhanced performance. - **System Modifications & Enhancements:** - Collaborate with other departments for necessary modifications to catalog management systems. - **False Inventory Control:** - Manage and rectify issues related to false inventory and analyze reports for high ageing inventory. - **Structure & Strategy Planning of Categories:** - Develop and implement strategies for organizing product categories to optimize catalog navigation and user experience. **Qualifications:** - Education: Any Graduate/Post Graduate - Experience: Proven experience in catalogue management or similar roles. **Skills:** - Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Experience in inventory management for accuracy and availability. - Understanding of SEO best practices. - Deep product knowledge for effective merchandising. - Strong customer focus and project management skills. - Leadership experience in managing teams and strong organizational skills. - Excellent communication skills for interaction with stakeholders and vendors. - Strong problem-solving skills for effective issue resolution.,
