Catalog Lead

The Catalog Lead will oversee the end-to-end cataloging process across our website and marketplaces. This role involves managing a team of catalog and data entry executives/associates ensuring accurate, timely, and error-free product listings that align with internal standards and marketplace compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• To manage a team of catalog executives/associates and data entry executives/associates to ensure product digitization into catalogue across website and marketplace
• Ensuring technical specifications are captured like size, weight, color etc are accurately mapped to the product and product images by the team.
• Take inputs and data from merchandising, photography, content, marketing teams regarding product information and respond with changes required on catalogue by them.
• Own and manage the full process of product listing, ensuring it is error-free, complete, and adheres to internal and external platform guidelines.
• Conduct regular audits and quality checks of product listings including content, descriptions, specifications, images, and videos to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Act as a liaison between merchandising, visual production, and product teams to ensure all catalog inputs are aligned and updated as per requirements.

• Marketplace Compliance:

  Ensure all listings adhere to the respective guidelines of each third-party platform (e.g., Amazon, Myntra, Nykaa, etc.) to avoid penalties or delisting.

• Process Optimization:

  Identify gaps and implement process improvements to enhance catalog operations and turnaround time.

Candidate Profile

• 5 to 8 years of experience
• Graduated in any discipline. MBA added advantage
• Proven experience in catalog management, preferably in fashion, jewelry, or lifestyle e-commerce.
• Strong knowledge of product listing on popular marketplaces and the Shopify platform.
• Knowledge of tools in the catalog management tool and product information management tools
• Eye for detail with the ability to spot and correct listing discrepancies.
• Familiarity with content management systems, proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, and product listing tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
• Experience in handling teams - delegation, training, and managing teams.
