Job Description

Job Summary:

The CASA Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring and managing customers for Current and Savings Accounts (CASA). The role involves customer acquisition, relationship building, cross-selling banking products, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This position plays a vital role in increasing the bank's low-cost deposit base and strengthening customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Acquisition

  • Identify and onboard new customers for current and savings accounts.
  • Target individual clients, professionals, SMEs, and businesses.
  • Conduct field visits and cold calling to generate leads.

2. Relationship Management

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing CASA clients.
  • Act as a single point of contact for customer queries and banking needs.
  • Understand customer financial goals and provide tailored solutions.

3. Portfolio Growth

  • Drive CASA balance growth through account activation and regular engagement.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products such as:
    • Fixed Deposits
    • Credit Cards
    • Loans (personal, home, business)
    • Insurance and investment products

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and audit-ready documentation.

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily/weekly sales and customer interaction reports.
  • Coordinate with branch teams and product specialists to resolve issues quickly.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of new CASA accounts opened
  • CASA average balance growth
  • Cross-sell revenue targets
  • Customer retention and satisfaction
  • Compliance and documentation accuracy

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • MBA/PGDM is a plus

Experience:

  • 13 years of experience in banking sales or relationship management
  • Experience in CASA acquisition is preferred

Skills:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Customer-centric approach
  • Basic knowledge of banking regulations and financial products
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools

Work Conditions:
