Job Description

Job Summary: The Nursing Trainer will be responsible for training and developing nursing staff and trainees to ensure high-quality patient care standards. The role includes conducting theoretical and practical sessions, developing training materials, and monitoring skill development to meet institutional and healthcare compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct induction, refresher, and skill enhancement training programs for nurses and patient care staff. Develop training modules, lesson plans, and assessment materials based on hospital protocols and nursing standards. Deliver classroom and hands-on clinical training sessions. Evaluate trainee performance through tests, practical assessments, and feedback. Ensure all nurses follow infection control, patient safety, and documentation protocols. Stay updated on current nursing practices and implement evidence-based training methods. Support quality audits and assist in maintaining accreditation standards. Mentor and guide newly joined nurses during their onboarding and probation period. Prepare training reports, attendance records, and skill evaluation summaries.
