Role Overview: As a Counseling Coordinator at our company, located in Kalinganagar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, you will play a crucial role in guiding and counseling candidates who aspire to work in Germany. Your responsibilities will include conducting counseling sessions in English and Odia, pre-screening candidates, maintaining documentation, scheduling interviews, and maintaining various trackers to monitor progress. Additionally, you will be expected to support outreach activities in nearby colleges and hostels. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct walk-in and scheduled counseling sessions in English and Odia, providing clear explanations on pathways, timelines, and next steps - Act as the primary guide for candidates interested in working in Germany - Source and pre-screen candidates based on education, age, location, and join-readiness - Collect and verify documentation, ensuring organized digital and physical files - Schedule interview/assessment and language-class slots, sending reminders for attendance - Maintain trackers for calls, walk-ins, selections, conversions, pending documents, and next actions - Prepare and publish daily MIS reports by 6 PM, highlighting risks and recovery actions - Provide support for small college/hostel outreach activities in the neighborhood - Ensure zero mis-selling by setting appropriate expectations and adhering to compliance checklists Qualification Required: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong understanding of career development theories and counseling techniques - Knowledge of current job market trends and industry demands - Empathy, active listening, and problem-solving abilities - Ability to administer and interpret psychometric tests - Proficiency in presentation and training skills - Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities - Familiarity with MS Office, career guidance tools, and digital platforms Please note that this is a full-time position requiring a Bachelor's degree. Proficiency in English and Odia languages is essential, and the work location is in person at our office.
