Job Description

A leading Power Systems company is looking for a Sr. Engineer Supplier Quality Assurance

Position: Sr. Engineer – SQA

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and assess suppliers with the Purchase team.
Drive new component development, technical drawing review, and sample inspections.
Initiate and approve PPAP batches, run @ rate, and verify weight compliance.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure production continuity.
Release monthly supplier performance ratings.
Conduct supplier process audits and provide on-site training.
Improve supplier performance in quality, delivery, and packaging.
Support plant quality teams with DOL/STU activities.
Maintain compliance with IMS documentation standards.

Required Skills:

Technical: Knowledge of engine & genset components, problem-solving tools, root cause analysis, supplier audits, PPAP, MSA, 5S, Kaizen & FMEA.
Behavioral: Strong communication, presentation, and multitasking skills.
