Job Title: Career Counsellor Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. (The role involves travelling and the candidate will have to travel to Vadodara, Gujarat, India occasionally.) Profile Summary: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Career Counsellor to guide students and fresh graduates, in making informed career decisions. The ideal candidate will help individuals understand their strengths, interests, and opportunities while providing relevant resources, industry insights, and personalized career paths. Key Responsibilities: Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions to assess career goals, academic interests, skills, and personality traits. Administer and interpret psychometric, aptitude, and interest-based assessments. Assist students in selecting academic courses, streams, and higher education or vocational options aligned with their long-term goals. Provide information on career options, job market trends, industry expectations, and emerging fields. Guide students on resume building, interview preparation, internships, scholarships, and skill development opportunities. Maintain detailed counselling records, feedback, and progress reports for each individual. Stay updated with changes in academic policies, admission procedures, job trends, and new-age career paths. Key Requirements: Master’s degree in Psychology, Career Counselling, Education, or a related field. Certification in Career Counselling, Guidance, or Psychometric Testing (preferred). Minimum 12 - 18 months of experience in career guidance settings. Familiarity with academic systems (Indian and/or international) and career landscapes. Comfortable in travelling to Vadodara on a frequent basis. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 01/07/2025
