Job Description: As a Career Counsellor at Decoding Me, you will have the opportunity to empower school students in Varanasi to make informed career choices without relying on tests or prescriptive guidance. Your role will involve conducting career research, facilitating workshops, providing individual counselling, engaging industry experts, and coordinating stakeholders effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct in-depth research on various careers to understand their nature of work, educational pathways, and skill requirements. - Facilitate group workshops for students and parents to foster engagement and knowledge-sharing. - Provide personalized counselling sessions tailored to individual student and/or parent needs. - Identify, onboard, and coordinate with industry experts in Varanasi to offer real-world career insights. - Serve as the central point of communication between school administration, students, parents, industry experts, and the Decoding Me leadership team. Skills and Attributes: - Confident presentation skills to lead interactive sessions with groups of 20 to 50 participants. - Passion for learning and exploring different career fields. - Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to engage and inspire others. - Proactive and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively. Eligibility Criteria: - 2+ years of professional experience in any field; freshers demonstrating exceptional proactivity and the ability to handle various responsibilities are welcome to apply. - No specific educational qualifications required; candidates returning to the workforce after a career break are also encouraged to apply.
